Colleen manages a diverse labour and employment practice, providing counsel on policy development, employment contracts and termination packages, collective bargaining and mediation, while also providing numerous training seminars for employers. She has implemented attendance management policies that have resulted in substantial client savings, reduced employer liability on terminations due to employment contract language, assisted employers in managing ill, and disabled employees, managed employee terminations and structured and advised employers engaged in mass terminations. Colleen has also been a guest lecturer for the Law Society of Upper Canada, the County of Carleton Law Association and professional training organizations. Colleen works with many private and public sector clients and has recently appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada on an important constitutional matter affecting First Nations Peoples.
