Neil is a Research Lawyer at Emond Harnden, providing research support in all areas of labour and employment law to the lawyers at the firm. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Labour Studies from McMaster University, a Master of Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto, and an LL.B and BCL (civil law) from McGill University. Neil was called to the Bar in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, he articled and practiced at a labour and employment law boutique. During this time, Neil’s practice included exposure to both the public and private sectors, with a particular focus on construction labour relations. His public sector experience involved matters at both the municipal and federal levels. His private sector experience included work in the construction, transportation, and manufacturing sectors in both provincially and federally regulated workplaces. Neil is a member of the Ontario Bar Association.
