Paula Campbell

Director of Research

Paula is the Director of Research and oversees the firm’s Research Department. She has 25 years’ experience conducting and managing the research of labour and employment law matters.

Paula provides guidance and assistance to the firm’s lawyers, articling students and other members of the research team. She frequently develops material for continuing legal education seminars, training seminars and the Firm’s seminar series on a variety of labour, employment and workplace issues. She also co-ordinates the firm’s external publications, materials and website content.

Although she conducts and manages research in all aspects of labour relations and employment law, Paula has developed a particular expertise in the preparation and drafting of interest arbitration briefs and has prepared countless briefs over her lengthy career with the firm, particularly in the health care, emergency services and other public sectors including the federal public sector. Paula is also well-versed in collective bargaining issues and specializes in drafting contract language, providing background research on monetary and non-monetary proposals in preparation for collective bargaining.

 

Paula is a graduate of Dalhousie University and Laval University and is fluently bilingual.
