With the closure of all non-essential workplaces and the current recommendations for physical distancing, remote work has become the only option for many businesses to continue some or all their operations during the pandemic. While remote work arrangements can be very successful, they usually require planning and a clear framework for all parties involved. However, in the circumstances of the pandemic, many employers have had to quickly implement remote work arrangements for the first time, without the benefit of having planned for such a transition.
