Federal Pay Equity – Preparing for November 1, 2021

On August 31st, 2021, the federal Pay Equity Act and Pay Equity Regulations will come into force. Most federally regulated employers will be required to prepare and post a pay equity plan within three years.
By November 1st, 2021, employers will be responsible for posting a notice outlining their obligations under the legislation, including the requirement to form a pay equity committee for the purpose of establishing a pay equity plan, if applicable.
On September 16th, join Emond Harnden’s Raquel Chisholm and pay equity consultant Sandra Haydon of Sandra Haydon & Associates for a 90-minute session focusing on Part I of the new federal Pay Equity Act.
The speakers will provide information to support strategic decision-making and prepare employers for the November 1st posting requirement before opening up the floor to all of your pressing questions.
