Lynn H. Harnden
Lynn represents both private sector and public sector employers in all aspects of labour relations and employment law. He appears regularly before tribunals such as arbitration boards, labour relations boards and human rights boards of inquiry. Lynn also acts as counsel in employment-related civil actions, judicial reviews and appeals at all levels.
Nationally recognized within the legal community, Lynn appears in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory (2007-2015), a guide to the leading law firms and practitioners in Canada, as a leading lawyer in the area of labour relations, human rights and employment law. Lynn received the “AV Preeminent” rating based on peer surveys by Martindale-Hubbell in 2012-2015. He received from Best Lawyers in Canada the designation of Lawyer of the Year in 2010 and 2016 for Labour and Employment Law in Ottawa.
Lynn was granted the designation of Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) by the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPAO). He is past President of the Ottawa Human Resources Professionals Association and past Chair of the Federal Government Affairs Committee of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario. He also participated in the Canadian delegation to Sri Lanka in 2001 lecturing on Canadian approaches to alternative dispute resolution.
