Sydney Kruth

Research Lawyer

Sydney is a Research Lawyer who conducts in-depth research in all areas of workplace law. Working closely with other lawyers, Sydney strives to identify proactive solutions to complex legal issues.

Prior to joining Emond Harnden, Sydney worked at a prominent boutique in Toronto, where she provided advice and representation to management regarding labour relations, employment litigation, human rights and workplace investigations.

Sydney holds a M.A. and a J.D. from the University of Western Ontario and is currently enrolled in the LL.M. program in Labour Relations and Employment Law at Osgoode Hall Law School. She received a number of scholarships and awards during her studies, including the Dean of Law Scholarship and the Kevin J. Comeau Scholarship for continuing academic achievement, and has published articles in a variety of forums. During law school, Sydney served as Managing Editor to the Western Journal of Legal Studies, where she further refined her writing skills.

Sydney is a member of the Ontario Bar Association.
